I've had combination key safes before. There are two things I like about this one: It's completely enclosed in a metal case, unlike others where only the front is metal. Look at the photos where I enlarged the mounting hole on the back. As you can see, the outer layer is PVC. On my other box, the tab that opens the front panel is spring-loaded and locks as soon as you remove your finger. On this model, you can leave it open to use the key, then reinsert it and turn the latch to lock it when you're ready. Finally, to address the issue someone else mentioned (that a pry bar could pull the entire box out of the wall), I enlarged one of the holes to accommodate a larger bolt (see photos). You can use a large lag screw or do what I did (since this was going in a barn wall). I drilled all the way through the wall and used a metal plate, not just a washer.
